Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the manouverability and safety of an engine, by using a usual switch means so that the engine is restarted after emergency stop, and it cannot be started again after a prescribed period has been passed after that restart if the abnormality is not eliminated. CONSTITUTION:The engine stop controlling apparatus compsises an engine igniting apparatus A, a stopping circuit B including a manual restoring type electric current switch SW1 and an engine abnormality detecting sensor SW2, a memory circuit M including flip flops F1, F2, a timer circuit T, a conrolling circuit C, an electric source circuit P for feeding to circuits B, C, T, and an auxiliary electric source circuit P' for feeding a circuit M. When the sensor SW2 detects an abnormality, the switch SW1 is turned ON to make an emergency stop of the engine. Thereafter if the switch SW1 is manually turned OFF, the engine is restarted, and after a prescribed period it is stopped by the circuit T. The ignition apparatus A is remained by the circuit C in the inactive state, so that the engine cannot be restarted again.
