Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the modification of a permanent magnet due to centrifugal force at the time of revolution at high speed by incorporating a light-weight high-strength nonmagnetic material into a groove formed the outer circumferential surface of an outer circumferential section. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 10 is composed of a core section 11 consisting of a magnetic material, a sidewall section 12 made up of a nonmagnetic material incorporated the core section 11 and an outer circumferential section 13 composed of a permanent magnet 14. The outer circumferential section 13 consisting of the permanent magnet 14 is formed from three layers, and U grooves 15 are shaped extending over a central section on the outer circumferential surface side of the outer circumferential section 13. The U grooves 15 are filled with a light-weight, high-strength nonmagnetic material and fixed with adhesives, etc., thus preventing deflection due to the centrifugal force of the outer circumferential section 13.
