Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce stress lowering accompanying the outside diameter change of a coating pipe and improve creep characteristic measuring precision of coating pipe material by providing a hole in an end cap of another side of a capsule for irradiation and connecting a thick walled pipe in which another end is sealed at the end cap. CONSTITUTION:A capsule 1 for irradiation creep test indicates that, for example, inner diameter is a few mm - dozens mm and thick wall is 1mm or less, and an end cap 3 and another end cap with a hole 4 are attached to both ends of a coating pipe 2 thereof, and a thick walled pipe 6 in which a thick walled pipe end cap 5 is attached to the other end of the end cap with a hole 4 is connected. In the inside of the capsule 1 inactive gas, for example, of pressure of dozens kg/cm<2> is enclosed, and the gas can be moved between the coating pipe 2 side and the pipe 6 side through the end cap 4. When the capsule 1 is provided in a reactor, the pipe 2 is deformed by creep due to the inner pressure, and the outer diameter of the pipe 6 is also increased, but the applied stress of the pipe 6 is low for the thickness, and the increased stress is far lower than that of the coating pipe 2.
