(Prior Art) For example, an external sliding roof structure is known as one of the sliding roof structures for vehicles. The external sliding roof structure includes an opening formed in the vehicle body, an opening/closing body that can freely open and close the opening, and a guide that guides the opening/closing movement of the opening/closing body, and the opening/closing body is moved above the roof through the guide. It slides to open the opening.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) However, in such a sliding roof structure,
For example, as schematically shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, if the guides 81 and 82 are provided only on the vehicle body side, the opening amount of the opening/closing body 83 will be the same as that between the rear stay 84 of the opening/closing body 83 and the fixed roof 85. Because of this restriction, the sliding roof structure cannot fully demonstrate its original functions of ventilation and lighting. Also, the seventh
For example, as shown schematically in FIG.
If the guide 91 is provided on the opening/closing body side, as in the sliding roof described in No. 57516, or the guide 92 is simply provided on the vehicle body side without being related to each other, the longitudinal stroke of the opening/closing body 93 will be the same as the guides 91, 9.
Therefore, in order to ensure a large length in front and back of the opening when the opening/closing body is opened, the guide 91 provided on the opening/closing body 93 needs to have a length that spans approximately the entire length of the opening/closing body. As a result, the weight on the opening/closing body 93 side increases, and in the open state where the opening/closing body is slid above the roof (Fig. 8), the rear part of the opening/closing body 93 vibrates due to vibrations during driving and becomes unstable. It becomes difficult to support and the opening/closing body 93
Due to the large weight of the vehicle, there is a problem in that the mechanism on the vehicle body side that supports it cannot be made lightweight and simple in structure.

In the above, in this embodiment, the roof side sub-guide rails 21, 21 have a length from the location where the rear end of the rear slide stay 61 of the opening/closing body 2 is located to the rear end of the opening/closing body 2 when the opening/closing body 2 is fully opened. . Therefore, by lengthening the rear slide stay 61, it is possible to shorten the length of the roof-side sub-guide rail 21. In this embodiment, the length of the roof-side sub-guide rails 21, 21 is approximately half that of the opening/closing body 2.

Next, actuate the cable drive unit (not shown),
When the drive cable is moved to the rear, the front slide stay 1
1 and 11 to the opening/closing body 2, and the opening/closing body 2 moves toward the rear roof 6. During such backward movement,
The stroke of the opening/closing body 2 is increased by the stroke of the opening/closing body 2 sliding through the third guide, that is, the roof side sub-guide rail 21, compared to the conventional case where guides are provided on the vehicle body side or the roof side without being related to each other. As shown in FIG. 4, the front and rear open length of the roof opening 4 when the opening/closing body is fully opened can be increased.

Next, when closing the roof opening 4, move the drive cable forward, position the opening/closing body 2 above the roof opening 4 as shown in FIG. It operates to swing the drive levers 52, 52 downward, and the rear slide stays 61, 61 and the frame side sub guide rails 41, 41 are stored under the opening/closing body 2, and the roof opening 4 is closed by the opening/closing body 2. .

(Effect of the invention) As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention,
A large longitudinal stroke of the opening/closing body can be ensured, and the length of the opening longitudinally when the opening/closing body is opened can be increased. Furthermore, since the guide rail on the opening/closing body side can be shortened, it is possible to reduce the weight of the opening/closing body and the support structure for the opening/closing body.
