The cut-off control circuit P starts the sequence sending cut-off command signals SA-SD to transceivers TA-TD at a prescribed time interval to disconnect the transceivers TA-TD from a coaxial cable L. The cut-off control circuit P disconnects the relevant transceiver and if the fault is lost, a display circuit Q displays that a transceiver TA or a station A corresponding to the cut-off command signals SA is faulty.
