PURPOSE: To attain high integration and to simplify circuit structure by composing a logic gate circuit of only superconductive Josephson elements and resistances.
CONSTITUTION: The two-terminal tunnel type Josephson element 1 and the resistance 1 fitted to its one terminal 1 are provided, a certain potential 1 is applied through the resistance 1, and another Josephson element 2 is fitted to the other terminal of the Josephson element. A resistance 2 is fitted to this fitted terminal, a reference potential is applied to the terminal 2 through the resistance 2, and a resistance 3 is fitted to the other terminal 3 of the pulse potential Josephson element 2 to apply a potential 2 through the resistance 3. Then the reference potential is held between the potentials 1 and 2, the terminal 2 is regarded as an input terminal, and the terminals 1 and 3 are regarded as output terminals. Thus, the circuit is composed of only the resistances and Josephson elements, so the area is reduced, simple circuit structure is realized, and electric characters become easy to understand.
