Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a product having high dimensional accuracy with high productivity by supplying a molten resin to the outside circumference of a tension member and forming an inside layer having a truly circular shape through a stationary die and an outside layer having spiral grooves through a rotary die on the outside circumference thereof, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The molten polyethylene which is heated and kneaded by an extruder is supplied from a flow passage 21 of a cross head die 2 to the stationary die 22 to coat the inside layer B having the truly circular section on the outside circumference of the tension member A which is supplied from an un- coiler and is a single wire of 1.4mmphi. The molten resin is then supplied from a flow passage 25 to the rotary die 24 rotated by a sprocket 23 to form the outside layer D having the spiral grooves C on the outside circumference of the inside layer B. The member is then cooled and coiled on a coiler. Since the outside layer is formed on the outside circumference of the inside layer, the constant flow of the resin to the spiral groove parts is obtd. The product having the high dimensional accuracy is thus produced with the high productivity.
