Abstract
PURPOSE:To rapidly cope with a situation in which the temperature of feed hot water is increased to a set value, by a method wherein, through reciprocating movement of a piston by means of the pressure of feed water, the amount of live gas fed to a burner part and the amount of primary and secondary air are regulated. CONSTITUTION:When water is introduced to a feed water passage 31, a pressure on the upper stream side of a piston 313 is increased, and piston lever 314 is moved rightward. With 8 switch 35 actuated, a blower is run, and compressed air is introduced to a compressed air chamber 211. Live gas and primary gas are mixed with each other in a mixture chamber 221, and air fuel mixture is fed to a burner part 1 for ignition. When the amount of water flowing to a feed water passage 31 is increased, the piston 313 is moved rightward, air-fuel mixture and secondary air fed to the burner part 1 are increased, and a hot water temperature can be held at a specified value. When a feed water temperature is increased, a thermo wax 34 is expanded to extrude a weir member 331, the opening area of a weir part is increased, and a water pressure on the downstream side of the piston 313 is increased. The piston 313 is moved leftward, air-fuel mixture and secondary air fed to the burner part 1 are decreased, and hot water temperature can be held at a specified value.
