Abstract
PURPOSE:To promote the atomizing action of fuel and to prevent the generation of soot, by a method wherein an injection nozzle having a nozzle through which fuel can be injected in the shape of a divergent cone as it is helically rotated is provided, and the nozzle is formed by a number of circular holes and a number of slit holes. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 5 is formed by a number of circular holes 5a formed on the base part side of a conical part 3a and a number of continuous slit holes 5b and 5c formed in the conical part 3a and a cylindrical part 3b. The slit holes 5b and 5c are formed around a virtual line (n) extending in parallel to a virtual line (m) passing the center of the nozzle 2 and deviated by a specified distance (e), and compressed air A is injected in a state of rotating the air in direction Y reverse to rotation direction X of fuel O. The fuel is injected in a divergent conical shape through the nozzle 2 of an injection nozzle 1 as it is helically rotated. The compressed air A is injected in a direction extending approximately at right angles with a bus l of fuel injected conically through a number of the circular holes 5a in the conical part 3a and obliquely toward a center. Further, the compressed air is injected obliquely in a direction reverse to the rotation direction of fuel through a number of the slit holes 5b in the conical part 3a, and in a direction extending at right angles with an axis L of the nozzle 2 of the injection nozzle 1 through a number of the slit holes 5c in the cylindrical part 3b.
