Abstract

PURPOSE: To make any current-energization interceptable in a moment before short inflamma tion occurs by making a special resin film so as to be dissolved if temperature becomes more than 120°C and to make the conductive surface interposed in an intermediate part contact with a heating part.

CONSTITUTION: In case of a heating element which makes cotton cloth 1 a ground fabric, the element is applied and impregnated with carbon coating 2 and resistible to extreme folding, one side 6 of double-face resin sheets 3 and 6 insulating and covering a heating part is formed into a three layers in structure, while a resin sheet 4 contacting with the heating part is dissolved if temperature becomes more than 120°C, and a conductor 5 of lower resistance than the heating part (b) interposed in the intermediate part is made so as to come into contact with any spot. That is to say, the surface heating part is set down to a woven ground fabric of cotton 100%, and an electrode part, where conductive fine wires are simultaneously woven, is installed at both ends of the woven ground fabric, the surface heating resistor applied and impregnated with carbon and coating is held between the heat and cold resistant resin film 3 and the three-layered resin film interposed with the conductor, thereby constituting a five-layer laminated flexible surface heating element. With this constitu tion, an abnormal current is perceived, commanded to an integrated circuit at the side of a controller so that the power source side can be intercepted in a moment before firing and inflammation are caused.
