Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute abnormality diagnosis even at the time of varying a process state by inferring the internal distribution of the quantity of the process state at real time when a current input is normal operation and comparing the inferred value with a current process output. CONSTITUTION:An abnormality diagnosis processing part 5 forecasts the internal state of the process based on procedure knowledge stored in a rule type data base 8 by referring a boundary value to be a process signal 2 and a frame type data base 7. The inference value of a process output at the time of normal time against the quantity of the current process state is compared with the quantity of a practical process state, and when a difference between both the values exceeds a certain threshold, process abnormality is decided. Thus, proper abnormality diagnosis can be executed even at the time of process variation.
