Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve service life of a lance for injecting powdery material and to improve operational ratio by arranging inner cylinder for injecting powdery material made to wear resistant material as exchangeable to inside of water cooling type outer cylinder coating with heat resistant and wear resistant material at top part thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The powdery material is injected to molten iron through water cooling type lance 1 for powdery material in the casting floor in a blast furnace to execute pretreatment. The outer cylinder 10 of the lance 1 is constituted by outer tube 11, intermediate tube 12 and inner tube 13, and inner and outer sides of the intermediate tube 12 are connected with each inlet 25 and outlet 26 for cooling water to execute water cooling. Further, the tip of the outer cylinder 10 is coated with the heat resistant and wear resistant material 15 of Ni-Cr series, etc. In the inside of the outer cylinder 10, the inner cylinder 14 for injecting powdery material composing to the wear resistant material of stainless steel, etc. By this method, splash is difficult to stick to the tip of the lance 1 and wear, deformation, bending, etc., are scarcely developed and the reaction efficiency having high level can be stably obtd.
