Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformly bring a developer into contact with a photosensitive material, especially in an axial direction and to sufficiently stir a toner and a carrier, by providing a rear stirring roll which generates a developing flow in an opposite direction, and a drop guide plate which guides the developer dropping from a magnet roll to a front stirring roll side mainly. CONSTITUTION:The magnet roll 22, the front stirring roll 23, and the rear stirring roll 24 are supported rotatably freely on a developer case 21 setting respective axis in parallel with each other, and the front stirring roll 23 is rotated at the same speed as that of the rear stirring roll 24 in a direction opposite to that of the roll 24. And the developer forms the developer flows that flow under the magnet roll 22 and under a toner hopper 25 in the directions opposite to each other. Also, the drop guide plate 28 is provided between the front stirring roll 23 and the rear stirring roll 24, and most of the developer dropping after passing the apex of the magnet roll 22 can be guided to be dropped to the front stirring roll 23 side. In such a way, it is possible to bring the developer into contact with the photosensitive drum 11 uniformly, and to stir the developer sufficiently.
