The alignment jig 23 is equipped with cartridge supporting parts arranged equivalent to the drawing tables 3 and 4 in a manufacturing device, and the cartridges 21 and 22 are loaded on the alignment jig 23, and the optical fibers 1A and 2A are positioned to the cartridges, then loaded. And when the optical fibers 1A and 2A are loaded on the cartridges 21 and 22 in a prescribed state, the cartridges 21 and 22 are carried to the optical fiber coupler manufacturing device by a carrying jig, and an optical fiber cable can be loaded on the manufacturing device in the prescribed state by loading the cartridges 21 and 22.
