Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the detection sensitivity in immunoassay by increasing the adsorbing amount of an antibody, by using a carbon ball as a solid phase. CONSTITUTION:A carbon ball having a diameter of 6.5mmphi is immersed in a 0.1mol./l (pH 7.5) phosphate buffer solution containing 0.1mg/ml of anti- AFT-IgG at 4 deg.C overnight and subsequently washed three times and further washed three times with a liquid mixture of a 0.01mol./l (pH 7.0) phosphate buffer solution, 0.1mol./l of NaCl, 0.1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3. By this method, the adsorbing amount of an antibody by a solid phase can be increased and the detection sensitivity in immunoassay can be enhanced.
