Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve detection specificity by containing dihydric metal ions such as Mg++ and Zn++ and a chelating agent to specific concentrations when measuring an antigen and antibody by mixing the antigen or antibody and a sample in an aqueous solvent by immune reaction and then by tracing the agglutination.
CONSTITUTION: In a cohesion test based upon immune reaction, not less one kind of dihydric matal ions such as Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Fe, Zn, and Cd is mixed in water, a solution of physiologic salt, various buffer liquids, a serum solution, a synthetic polymer solution, or a solution obtained by combining them to a concentration of 0.001W1M. In another way, a chelating agent such as ethylenediamine 4 acetate is mixed to 0.005W1M together with the above-mentioned ions. Thus, when an antigen or antibody and sample are traced in a double diluting method, nonspecific cohesion is suppressed excellently and an aqeuous solvent of excellent specific cohesion can be obtained. Since the chelating agent is used together, the nonspecific cohesion is further suppressed in comparison with the use of dihydric ions only.
