Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of a trouble and a defective bottle or others in operation, by displaying an interval of bottles and position thereof across the width of a conveyor as determined while an alarm is generated when an improper position of a bottle occurs as exceeding a limit. CONSTITUTION:A beam A to a light receiver 12 from a projector 9 located at the right angle to the flow of the bottles is made to cross a beam B to a light receiver 11 from a projector 10 skew to the flow thereof beyond a conveyor at the height of the neck diameter of the bottles. A beam C to a light receiver 14 from a projector 13 located at the right angle to the flow of the bottles at the height of max. body diameter passes beyond a conveyor. With such an arrangement, the positions of the bottles across the width of the conveyor are determined by proportional calculation according to the number of time difference pulses as obtained when beams of two switches (comprising the projectors 9, 10 and 13 and the light receivers 11, 12 and 14) are intercepted by the bottles. An interval of the bottles and the positions thereof across the width of the conveyor as determined are displayed while an alarm is generated when an improper of position of a bottle occurs exceeding a limit.
