Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent external appearance of a plated sheet from being deteriorated and to contrive improvement of the commercial properties of a product by immersing the plated sheet which is vapor-deposited in a vacuum deposition chamber formed with sealing rolls, dissolving and removing an excess metallic block stuck on the plated face. CONSTITUTION:A plated face 15 vapor-deposited with Zn is formed by vacuum- depositing metal to be vapor-deposited e.g. Zn on a steel sheet 11 in the inside of a vacuum deposition chamber 12 which is formed with sealing rolls 13a, 13b, 14a, 14b for airtightly holding the lamellate steel sheet 11 to be worked between them. This plated steel sheet 11a vapor-deposited with Zr is introduced into a chamber 16 for enclosing dissolving liquid (dilute hydrochloric acid, etc.) which is provided to the downstream side of the chamber 12 in a carrying passage of the steel sheet 11 and immersed into dissolving liquid of the plated part which is enclosed therein. A block 21 of excess Zn stuck again on the plated face 15 vapor-deposited with Zn of the steel sheet 11a is dissolved by the above-mentioned dissolving liquid and removed. By this method, in the steel sheet 11a, a defect such as a protruding part due to the block of Zn is not formed on the surface side of the press-molding sheet.
