CONSTITUTION:A transparent electrode 2 is formed on a light transmitting substrate 1 made of glass or heat resistant plastic material and a power generating layer 3 consisting of polycrystal silicon having hydrogen concentration of 0.5-5% is formed on this electrode 2. This power generating layer is structured by a boron-doped P-type layer 3p and a phosphorus-doped N-type layer 3n. Moreover, a rear electrode 4 formed by a metal such as aluminum A is formed on this power generating layer 3.
