Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a product superior in combining properties by a string and winding properties of a vine, by a method wherein a mixture of soft polyvinyl chloride and hard polyvinyl chloride is applied continuously on the surface of a long- sized metallic pipe by extruding through a crosshead die as raw materials under a state where the soft polyvinyl chloride is melted and the hard polyvinyl chloride is semi-molten. CONSTITUTION:Raw materials comprised of 100pts.wt. powdery soft polyvinyl chloride and 25-400pts.wt. hard polyvinyl chloride formed in a pulverized state through molding beforehand by adding and kneading the latter to the former is loaded into an extruding machine 1. The raw materials are discharged through a crosshead die 2 under a state where the soft polyvinyl chloride is melted completely and hard polyvinyl is semi- molten. A long-sized metallic pipe (a) molded beforehand into a tubular state by a pipe manufacturing machine 4 by sending out through an uncoiler 3 is pierced through the crosshead die 2 so that the same is moved crosswise and synthetic resin jacket (b) is formed on the surface. The pipe is cut in standard lengths by a cutter 5 after cooling and caps are fitted over both end opening parts of them. A minute uneven part (c) which is ascribable to the hard polyvinyl chloride discharged onto the resin jacket (b) under a semi-molten state is formed extending over the whole surface.
