Abstract
PURPOSE:To transmit a high power by means of little space by constituting a generator main bus part using an isolated-phase bus from a superconducting material and by cooling a heat input portion entering from the surroundings. CONSTITUTION:The output terminal of a generator 1 is provided in the lower part of said generator, and the generator floor 5 is provided with an opening, from which the generator 1 is connected with lower stories. From said lower stories, a generator main bus 4 is connected with a transformer 2 installed outdoors. Three superconducting wires are housed in said generator main bus 4. In order that said superconducting wires in the generator main bus 4 maintain a superconducting phenomena, it is necessary to cool said wires below the temperature determined by their materials. Therefore, cooling pipes 7a, 7b for connecting a cooling device 6 and the cooling device 6 with the generator main bus 4 are provided for that purpose. Thus, electricity can be transmitted by means of a space far less than that in case of an apparatus heretofore in use.
