Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a polymer composition outstanding in processability, capable of giving films, molded articles etc. which are good in electrical conductivity and appearance, by blending each specified amount of cuprous iodide, a polymer and solvent.
CONSTITUTION: The objective polymer composition can be obtained by blending (A) cuprous iodide, (B) at least one kind of polymer selected from polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, phenol-formaldehyde resin, etc. and (C) a solvent soluble for both the components A and B (e.g., N-methylpyrrolidone, 1,3-dimethyl-2- imidazolidinone) in the weight ratio A/B=90/10W30/70 (pref. 35/65W80/20) with the components A plus B accounting for 5W50(pref. 10W40)wt.% of the final composition.
