Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily produce a superconducting ceramic body with the desired shape and excellent superconductivity by forming a deposit layer on the substrate surface having the desired shape with the sol obtained by alkoxide- hydrolyzing metal alkoxide of a raw material then drying and baking it. CONSTITUTION:Metal alkoxide as a departure raw material is alkoxide- hydrolyzed, a deposit layer 13 is formed on the surface of a substrate 11 having the desired shape with the sol (colloidal solution) obtained by the hydrolysis, then it is dried end baked. The deposit layer 13 is formed into the superconducting ceramic 17 from the sol state via the gel state 15. The desired superconducting ceramic body 19 can be thereby produced in response to the shape of the substrate 11.
