Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a high-performance superconductive drawn wire by obtaining the secondary raw material via the selecting and confirming process on whether the desired superconducting characteristic is acquired or not in advance and machining this secondary raw material into a wire rod. CONSTITUTION:When the mixed powder of materials with different superconductivity is placed in the magnetic field atmosphere at the preset temperature, the material indicating the superconductive characteristic at this temperature is moved to the space with weak magnetic field by the Meissner effect, on the other hand the material indicating no superconducting characteristic is left at the original position. The superconducting material thus moved to the space with weak magnetic field by utilizing the Meissner effect is collected and filled in a metal pipe then wire-drawn. The superconducting material in a wire-drawn metal sheath has good-quality superconducting characteristic, thus high current density is obtained.
