Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify analyses by supplying AC heat flow intermittently from a heater and detecting the amplitude of the AC temp. of the generated temp. waves by a temp. sensor. CONSTITUTION:The heater 14 is disposed above a thermocouple 13 to decrease the influence of convection. Square wave electric power of a prescribed frequency is supplied to the heater 14 via a square wave oscillator 17 and a power amplifier 18 under the control of a CPU 16 so that the heater 14 generates heat intermittently. The AC heat flow released from the heater 14 propagates in a liquid sample 11. The AC temp. waves are thereby generated and the temp. amplitude of the AC temp. waves is detected by the thermocouple 13. The output from the thermocouple 13 is subjected to lock-in amplification 19 and an arithmetic processing by the CPU 16. Noises are detected as well together with the temp. waves in accordance with the heat generated by the heater 14. On the other hand, the thermocouple 13 is connected to a zero junction 20 and the output thereof is supplied through a digital voltage measuring instrument 21 to the CPU 16, by which the reference temp. is obtd. A control signal is supplied from this CPU 16 to an X state 12 through an X-stage driving control circuit 22.
