Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a multicolor image with a coloring system having high resistance to heat, light and chemicals, by sequentially providing a colored layer divisionally colored in a plurality of tones, a thin metallic film layer and a protective layer on a base. CONSTITUTION:A colored layer 2, a thin metallic film layer 3 and a protective layer 4 are provided on a base 1 in a laminate form. The plan view of the colored layer 2 divisionally colored in a plurality of tones, in the case of application to, e.g., rectangular cards, is as shown, in which three colored surfaces colored with coloring materials 2a-2c selected from arbitrary coloring materials of black, red, blue, green, yellow, etc. The thin metallic film layer 3 is provided on the coloring layer 2 on the base 1, by using Te, Sn, In, Al, Bi, Pb, Zn or the like. The film thickness of the layer is desirably about 100Angstrom to 1mum.
