Abstract

PURPOSE:To lessen the number of cores of signal lines and to simplify a structure and wiring sharply, by a method wherein pulses in the number corresponding to a deviation of a detected rotational angle obtained from a rotational angle detecting means and a converter circuit are outputted as the detected rotational angle from a pulse generator. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal of a rotational angle detected by a resolver 9 operating as a rotational angle detecting means is sent to a pulse generator 15 as it is or after being converted into a bit output by an up-down counter 11 operating as a converter circuit. When a deviation occurs in the aforesaid detection signal within a prescribed time due to a change in the rotational angle of an arm 1 working as a rotary member, said pulse generator 15 outputs pulses in the number corresponding to said deviation, as a detected rotational angle of said arm 1 working as the rotary member. Accordingly, the detected rotational angle can be outputted by an incremental system, and thus the number of cores of signal lines can be lessened.
