Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the controlling of a location of a motor conducting no incremental action only by digital quantity by method wherein encoder pulses are counted, the contents of a counter are used as mean velocity and the quantity of displacement and the direction of displacement are compared. CONSTITUTION:A displacement detection means 9 is formed by a detector (A rotary encoder) 8 putting out signals every time a motor 1 is displaced at a fixed angle of revolution. The quantity of displacement is drawn by means of a circuit 11 from the displacement detecting means 9. Encoder pulses put out from the displacement detecting means 9 during the time when the motor 1 is turned are counted by means of a pulse counter 12. The contents of count are inversely proportional to the speed of the motor 1. The contents of a direction detecting means 10, a displacement quantity drawing means 11 and the pulse counter 12 are compared, and conduction to the motor 1 is controlled 14 comparing with the command of an angle of revolution of the motor 1 or the command of the speed of revolution of the motor 1.
