Abstract

PURPOSE:To record a high quality image, by detecting the temp. of the part where a recording sheet is overlapped with a transfer film and controlling the quantity of heat rays allowed to irradiate according to the detected temp. CONSTITUTION:In recording an image, a temp. sensor 7 measures the temp. of the recording sheet 5 closely adhered to a transfer film 4 or the temp. in the vicinity thereof. This measured temp. is substantially the temp. of the transfer film 4 and, therefore, the temp. sensor 7 measures the temp. of the transfer film 4. When this measured temp. is higher than standard temp., the intensity of the laser beam 9 from a laser beam source 1 is weakened by a moving circuit 8 and a modulator 2. When the measured temp. is low, the intensity of the laser beam 9 is increased. By this method, corresponding to the temp. of the transfer film 4, the quantity of heat necessary for the transfer of the transfer film 4 of that temp. is given by laser beam and a high quality image having definite density is recorded.
