Abstract

PURPOSE:To require no standby computer or reduce it and to obtain a low cost standby unit excellent in an environmental resistance by making console table intelligent by a microcomputer and providing a minimum function required at the time of an abnormality. CONSTITUTION:The present unit is constituted of a message transforming part 2, the console table 1, a change over switch 3, a computer 5 and a telemeter master station device 6. The message transforming part 2 combines plural signals keyed in from a keyboard and made intelligent so as to form a plant signal and has a minimum function required for a remote monitoring or a remote controlling. Ordinarily, the change over switch 3 is turned on at the computer 5 side, the console table 1 executes processings such as the control of the screen, the edition of a document, an operation by the computer 5, thereafter, remotely controls through the computer 6. When the computer 5 is brought into an abnormal state, a computer abnormal signal 4 is inputted to a message transforming part, the change over switch 3 is changed over to the master station device 6 side, a remote control operation by the keyboard of the console table 1 is transformed to a message to the master station device by the message transforming part 2 and directly transmitted to the master station 6.
