Abstract
PURPOSE:To specify and troubleshoot a failed signal generator if any one of signal generators is in failure, by comparing both of the outputs of the duplicated signal generators with each other and each output with a reference. CONSTITUTION:Signal generators 1 and 2 are located at the same location and no alarm is given at normal state, because the deviation between the both generators and each output and a reference value is within a specified value. When a switching circuit 3 selects the signal generator 1 and an operating device 5 is controlled with the output of the signal generator 1, if the signal generator 1 is in failure, since the deviation from the reference value is increased, a regulator 4 with a deviation alarm output outputs ''1'' to an AND circuit 7 and the switching circuit 3. Thus, the switching circuit 3 selects the signal generator 2. Since the deviation between the outputs of the signal generators is increased, a deviation detector 6 also outputs ''1''. As a result, normal control is continued and a signal generator in failure can be troubleshooted.
