Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the room temperature of a vehicle to carry a number of passengers in the optimum state demanded by the passengers by controlling the room temperature of the vehicle according to a number of demands of these passengers. CONSTITUTION:Seat switches 1, 2, 3... are used to detect the seating of passengers to give seat signals. Rotary instruction switches 41, 42, 43... are to give instruction signals in three stages of ''proper'', ''high'', and ''low'' temperature by the selection of the passengers. The seat signals and the instruction signals are input into a microcomputer 91 through an I/O circuit 81. An automatic thermal control unit 94 is used to control temperature on the basis of manual thermal setting by a driver and the like as well as to control the room temperature of a vehicle by receiving a thermal control instruction signal from a microcomputer 91.
