Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the photodetecting efficiency of stimulated phosphorescent light, by providing an optical detector arranged adjacently to an accumulative fluorescent material sheet and detects the stimulated phosphorescent light directly, a reflecting optical device which reflects excitation light and makes it incident on the accumulative fluoresecent material sheet, and a condenser mirror which reflects the stimulated phosphorescent light toward a photodetecting plane. CONSTITUTION:The condenser mirror 19 is arranged so as to enclose the photodetecting plane 12a of the optical detector 12. The accumulative fluorescent material sheet 11 is two-dimensionally-scanned by the excitation light 18, then, the stimulated phosphorescent light 20 is emitted. The stimulated phosphorescent light 20 is made incident on the photodetecting plane 12a of the optical detector 12 directly or after being reflected on the condenser mirror 19, and its light quantity is detected by the optical detector 12 photoelectrically. And most of the stimulated phosphorescent light 20 advancing in a direction off a photodetecting solid angle (alpha) can be reflected on the condenser mirror 19 for one or two times, then, it is made incident on the photodetecting plane 12a of the optical detector 12. Thus, it is possible to heighten the photodetecting efficiency of the stimulated phosphorescent light 20 than ever.
