Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize emitted energy efficiently even if a solid light emitting element which has no sufficient directivity and a small light emission diameter is used as a light source, by using a reflective mirror having a secondary rotary curved surface. CONSTITUTION:At the focal position of the secondary curve of reflective mirror 10 having a reflecting surface forming a secondary rotary curved surface, such as a rotary elliptical surface, light source 11 consisting of a solid light emitting element such as LED is placed and lens system 12 which makes part of light reflected by reflective mirror 10 ammong light radiated from light source 11 into a parallel beam can be provided to collimate the light with high efficiency. Further, while a parabolic surface is used as the secondary curved surface, lens system 13 which focuses parallel light from it may be provided, and lens system 14 may also be provided in order to utilize the front-surface radiated light of the light source as well.
