Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the lamp efficiency by providing a parabolic mirror with infrared light-transmitting and visible light-reflecting film so that the focal point is formed on the filament of a halogen lamp and providing a spherical reflecting mirror with the same focal point position on its outside. CONSTITUTION:A parabolic mirror with infrared light-transmitting and visible light-reflecting film 3 is arranged so that the focal point of the parabolic mirror 3 is formed on the filament 2 of a halogen electric lamp 1, and an aluminum spherical mirror 6 having the filament 2 of the halogen electric lamp 1 at its center is provided on its outside. Among the energy emitted from the filament 2 of the halogen electric lamp 1, the light energy in the visible wavelength area is reflected by the parabolic mirror 3 to form the cool spot light with little heat energy. The heat energy transmitted through the parabolic mirror 3 is reflected by the aluminum spherical mirror 6 and returned again to the filament 2 of the halogen electric lamp 1 to heat the filament 2. The lamp efficiency is thereby improved.
