Abstract

PURPOSE: To converge the diffuse luminous flux from a light source to a small beam west by using the reflecting mirror provided with a reflecting surface of paraboloid of revolution and an exit face making lens action.
CONSTITUTION: Diffuse luminous flux from a light source 1 is made to the parallel luminous flux by the reflecting face which assumes a part of the paraboloid of revolution of a reflecting mirror 21 forming the luminous flux corrector irrespective of its divergent angles. This parallel luminous flux is focused by the exit face 24 of the shape making lens action of the reflecting mirror 21, thus the luminous flux radiated by having a spread from the light emitting source of a finite size is converged to a sufficiently small beam west and is well coupled to an optical fiber or the like.
