CONSTITUTION:A flash light source 5 and a main body 3 are arranged so that an axis 3a in its irradiation dierection is placed in parallel to a photographic optical axis. Then, the inclination of the reflecting surface 4a of a reflecting umbrella 4 to the photographic optical axis 3a is made less than that of the reflecting surface 4b closer to the photographic optical axis than the other surface. Therefore, reflected light l1 from the reflecting surface 4a is emitted relatively along the optical axis 3a, and reflected light l2 from the reflecting surface 4a is emitted covering an object at a relatively large angle. When a protector lens 6 is used, its refracting power is made asymmetric on the axis 3a; and luminous flux above the axis 3a is focused relatively, and luminous flux below it is diffused relatively to reach the object.
