Abstract

PURPOSE:To correctly input a telephone number, by providing a memory circuit which stores a numeric code decided as the telephone number to satisfy the requisite of the telephone number at a telephone number decision circuit, and a dial outgoing circuit which issues a dial call based on the telephone number stored in the memory circuit. CONSTITUTION:A bar code reader 1 reads a bar code printed on a business card, etc. The information of the telephone number is stored in the bar code on the business card, etc. A read bar code is converted to a numeral at a bar code conversion circuit 2, and it is checked whether or not it is provided with a condition as the telephone number at a telephone number checking circuit 3. When it is decided that the number is not the telephone number, an error is displayed as the input of a defective code. Also, when the number is recognized as the telephone number, the telephone number is stored in the memory circuit 4. The dial outgoing circuit 5 generates a corresponding dial call signal by reading out the telephone number from the memory circuit 4, and sends the dial call signal to a telephone line 8. When the telephone line 8 is connected, a transmission line 5 and a reception line 7 are operated, then, a call can be performed.
