Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a slight fluid leak accurately as well, by a method wherein more than three bag packages are run on a belt conveyor, at least three on the downstream are pressed simultaneously and a difference between digital data of two displacement sensors on the upstream and downstream is compared with a threshold. CONSTITUTION:Seven bag packages B1-B7 are put on a belt conveyor 1 sequentially at a fixed interval L and a belt 1 is fed intermittently by a fixed length L with a servo motor 8. A press plate support member 11 is lowered through a rack 21 and a pinion 22 with a pulse motor 10 to press the bag packages B2-B5 with press plates 2-5 simultaneously. At this point, output signals e1 and e2 of a pair of displacement sensors are inputted into a CPU via an A/D converter. The CPU performs a subtraction between digital values of both the signals and compares the results with a threshold. When it exceeds the threshold, a discharge signal is outputted to a discharge device 23.
