Abstract
PURPOSE: To inform of an accident occuring in a production line by automatically inspecting the acceptability of products in the line and generating a signal when the rejection rate has exceeded a predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of inspecting whether a label 21 has been pasted onto a product 2 normally or not, for example, a sensor 31 photographs the product 2 when the product 2 has conveyed to a predetermined position by a belt conveyor 1, and the output of the sensor 31 is fed to a decision unit 32 of an inspection device 3. The decision unit 32 compares the output of the sensor 31 with a prememorized normal signal, judges the product 2 acceptable or not, and feeds a measuring unit 33 with an output signal corresponding to the acceptability of the product 2. When the rejection rate for a series of the products 2 has exceeded a predetermined vale, an abnormal signal is generated at a terminal 36 to urge a monitor to check the production line, through a buzzer, lamp, or the like.
