Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a highly accurate analysis of a 3-D image, by stepwise irradiation with linear laser light as turning in the X, Y and Z. CONSTITUTION:Laser light sources 1-3 generate luminous fluxes, for example, 1mm wide and 1m long, and turns with a stepping motor in respective axes by a preset angle. A camera 4 is made movable by steps along the depth of an object to be measured (3-D object) and can be moved at a position corresponding to depth of field of the object being measured to ensure accurate results even in a photography at a less depth of focus. A mirror 5 set by a tilt of 45 deg. with respect to a photographing base deflects an optical axis of the light source 3 for the Z axis, turning in the Y axis, in the Z axis. Thus, 3-D measurement is made possible simply by turning the light sources 1-3 in the direction X or Y on the same surface, thereby permitting analysis of a 3-D image with the possibility of measurement and taking of size at a vary high accuracy.
