Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce dead volume staying upstream from an intake control valve, by controlling an intake control valve responding to the valve opening of a throttle valve installed in each intake passage, in a device provided with an intake control valve in one of two intake passages for cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The upper course of an intake pipe 1 is separated in the first and the second intake passages 1a, 1b by a separation wall 3. On each upper course, the first and the second throttle valves 4a, 4b are provided. The first and the second throttle valves 4a, 4b are connected to an acceleration pedal through a connecting members 5 and a wire 6. A cam 4d is fixed to the turning movement shaft 4c of the first throttle valve 4a. In the lower course from the first throttle valve 4a, an intake control valve 7 whose opening is controlled responding to a r.p.m by a control unit 6 is provided. A roller 7c is brought in contact with the cam 4d and opening of the intake control valve 7 is controlled responding to the valve opening of the first throttle valve 4a.
