Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide sufficient high temp. strength as well as good corrosion resistance, castability and phase stability to the titled alloy by adding specific amounts of Ta, W and Mo thereto and specifying the total amt. of Al and Ti. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of the Ni based super heat resistant alloy for single crystal is constituted of, by weight, 4.5-5.5% Co, 5.5-6.5% Cr, 1.0-4.5% Mo, 8.0-13.0% W, 5.0-5.5% Ta, 4.5-5.5% Al, 0.8-1.2% Ti and the balance Ni. In the range of said components, the total amt. of Ta, W and Mo is regulated to 17.0-19.0% and the total amt. of Al and Ti is regulated to 5.0-6.5%. Ta, W and Mo which contribute to the conversion into solid solution are added to the alloy in the range of solid solution. Said alloy is converted into single crystal by a one way solidifying furnace in the use. A heat treatment is executed thereto after the conversion into single crystal, by which high temp. strength of the alloy is improved.
