Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily set a continuous sheet and to easily confirm a printing state by providing a single slip inserter so as to rotate an upper sheet guide above a printing head at a predetermined fulcrum as an axis. CONSTITUTION:A single slip inserter 41 feeds a single slip sheet 42 set on an upper sheet guide 41a between a printing head 43 and a platen 44 in a state placed on the top of a printing unit, and feeds it to a print starting position by rollers 47a, 47b. The upper sheet guide 41a of the inserter 41 can be rotated in a direction of an arrow G, i.e., toward the top of the head 43. When a continuous sheet 49 is to be set, if the guide 41a is rotated upward of the head 43, a bail roller 50 is rotatable in a direction of an arrow B. Accordingly, it can be easily set. Even when the part of the sheet 49 immediately after printing is to be confirmed as seen from a direction of an arrow D, if the guide 41a is rotated toward the top of the head 43, it can be easily confirmed.
