Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish smooth and accurate feeding of paper by allowing a rubber platen to rotate freely about a shaft being only pressed against a head in a paper feeder equipped with a pin feed roller and the platen.
CONSTITUTION: A fan folded paper 4 is fed with a pin feed roller 6. As a rubber platen is only pressed against a printing head 3 through the paper 4, it rotates freely about a shaft 2 to brake the feeding of the paper with the pin feed roller 5. The pin feed roller 5 and the rubber platen 1 may be arranged integral on the same shaft. In this case, the rubber platen is so arranged to rotate freely about a driving shaft 6.
