CONSTITUTION:The collimating telescope of the surveying machine is equipped with the objective lens 4 and ocular 12 and the intensifier 16 is incorporated between the objective 4 and ocular 12. A dark image formed on the image input surface of the image intensifier 16 with weak light is intensified by the image intensifier 16 to appear on its screen as a bright image, and this can be seen through the ocular 12. Consequently, a target point can be collimated through the telescope in a tunnel or in the nighttime where the quantity of light is small.
