Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the response time corresponding to the illuminated light amount of a large-sized image sensor, by giving a specified bias light amount to the large-sized image sensor in addition to the reflected light from illuminated transmission original. CONSTITUTION:A reflected light from an illuminated transmission original 1 with a fluorescent light 3 is given to a large sized image sensor 2 through a photoconductive body 4 consisting of array lenses inserted to a slit plate 5, and the light amount from the fluorescent light 3 is directly given to the large sized image sensor 2 through a bias light slit 6 of the slit plate 5. Thus, since a specified bias light amount is given to the large sized image sensor in addition to the reflected light from the illuminated transmission original, the response time to the illuminated light amount of the large sized image sensor is reduced to 1/2- 1/4 in comparison with conventional systems.
