Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute good wire drawing without any fear of a disconnection, seizure and oil mixture by making the oils for lubrication and cooling of the wet type forced lubrication wire drawing device arranging an inlet tube and guide die just before a diameter contracting die the same oil less than specific viscosity. CONSTITUTION:A die holder storing an inlet tube 2 and a guide die 1 just before a diameter contracting die 3 is dipped in a lubrication oil 4 while cooling the die 3 by a cooling oil 6 a wire rod 5 is inserted and subjected to wire draw ing. The wire rod 5 subjected to diameter alignment by the guide die 1 is subjected to forced lubrication wire drawing well without any oil shortage by pouring the lubrication oil 4 in the gap with the inlet tube 2 and giving an oil pressure to the die 3 inlet side. In that case the die 3 subjected to high temp. is cooled by the cooling oil 6. Good wire drawing is always possible without any fear of the mixture at the time of changing a die by making this lubrication oil 4 and cooling oil 6 the same oil less than 2500cst viscosity. The lubrication oil 4 may be circulated in the same cooling device.
