PURPOSE:To improve the press-insertion capability of a rubber bushing, while reducing the press- insertion force and preventing the damage of the rubber or a displacement of its position by press- inserting an inner cylinder to the interior of a rubber cylinder by utilizing a lubricant while roughening the surface roughness of a inner surface of the rubber cylinder or a peripheral surface of the inner cylinder rough. CONSTITUTION:An assembly inserting a rubber cylinder 2 to an outer cylinder 1 by using a funnel shaped die as a guide is placed on a receiving seat 5 fixed in the lower portion of a vertically movable press. A guide 8 with a taper is clamped by a screw in the lower end of a core rod 7 after passing an inner cylinder 3 through the core rod 7 fixed to the upper portion 6 of a press.
