The present invention relates to a polyester film having high shrinkage properties. Conventionally, ordinary polyester films made by condensation polymerization of ester-converted monomers of dimethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol have properties such as chemical resistance, solvent resistance, mechanical properties, electrical properties, heat resistance, moisture resistance, and water resistance. , has excellent transparency, gloss, and safety and hygiene properties, but on the other hand, it has poor heat-sealability, especially when it comes to heat-shrinkable films.
The problem was that heat sealing, especially hot plate heat sealing, was difficult. In order to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present inventors investigated various types of polyester heat-shrinkable films, and as a result, they focused on the properties of amorphous copolyester with a specific structure, and found that they have high shrinkage properties and easy heat-sealing. We have succeeded in developing a polyester film that maintains the excellent characteristics of conventional polyester films, with sufficient strength, texture, and stiffness. That is, the features of the present invention are as follows: 50 to 95% by weight of an amorphous copolyester derived from terephthalic acid or a derivative thereof, ethylene glycol, and 1.4 cyclohexanedimethanol; 5 to 50% by weight of polyester polymer;
An object of the present invention is to provide a highly shrinkable polyester film obtained by forming and stretching a composition comprising: The present invention will be explained in detail below. The copolyester used in the present invention is preferably a transparent and upper amorphous copolyester derived from terephthalic acid or a derivative thereof, 50 to 80% by weight of ethylene glycol, and 20 to 50% by weight of 1.4 cyclohexanedimethanol. In this case, the above numerical values are not particularly limited. Furthermore, the above-mentioned terephthalic acid or its derivatives refer to terephthalic acid or those obtained by introducing a methyl group, ethyl group, etc. into it, such as dimethyl terephthalate and diethyl terephthalate. The blending ratio of the copolyester and the polyester polymer consisting of terephthalic acid or its derivative and ethylene glycol (hereinafter referred to as "ordinary polyester") is 50 to 95% by weight, preferably 70 to 95% by weight, The latter accounts for about 5 to 50% by weight, preferably about 30 to 5% by weight. The reason for limiting the values for both as mentioned above is that when the former copolyester exceeds 95% by weight, the strength generally decreases significantly and the feel and stiffness are inferior; This is because the high shrinkage and easy heat-sealing properties that copolyesters have are not desirable. The film of the present invention is usually produced by the tubular method and stretched uniaxially, biaxially, or multiaxially.
The die method may also be used. At this time, in the present invention, stretching treatment is an essential condition; without stretching, the strength decreases significantly and a high degree of heat shrinkability cannot be obtained.
Furthermore, lubricants, antistatic agents, other additives, fillers (antiblocking agents), etc. may be mixed into the film of the present invention as appropriate. The film of the present invention can be used for heat-shrinkable labels, heat-shrinkable cap seals, cup lids, shrink wrapping, etc.
It is suitable for other suitable packaging films, but there are no particular restrictions on the use. Examples of the present invention will be described below. (Example) Copolyester using 1.4-cyclohexanedimethanol as part of dimethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol (in this case, the ratio of 1.4-cyclohexanedimethanol and ethylene glycol is
A composition of polyester (normal polyester) consisting of dimethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol is melt-extruded using an annular die, and then biaxially stretched to form a highly heat-shrinkable film with easy heat-sealability. Obtained. In addition, the blending ratio of copolyester and normal polyester, stretching temperature, and stretching ratio are as in Experiment No. 1.
- No. 7, we conducted experiments with various changes, and obtained the data shown in the table below.

[Table] (Evaluation) According to the above table, the polyester films of the present invention (Experiment No. 4, No. 5, No. 6) are easily heat-sealable and have high shrinkability. It has many uses as a sex film. On the other hand, those outside the scope of the present invention, those in Experiment 7, were superior in easy heat sealability and high shrinkage to those in Experiments No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6, but had a large decrease in strength and However, it is inferior to the previous three in terms of waist strength, and its uses are therefore limited. On the other hand, experiments No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 showed heat shrinkage and
It has poor heat sealability and cannot be used for the film of the present invention exemplified above. As described above, the present invention has been able to provide a polyester film that has high shrinkability, easy heat-sealability, and sufficient strength, and has good texture and stiffness. films, labels,
